Welcome to Lees Hill Church of England Primary School

Lees Hill Church of England Primary School is voluntary controlled with just under 50 children on roll ranging from 4-11 years of age. The school is situated 5 miles north-east of Brampton.

We serve the local community surrounding Lees Hill including West Hall, Walton and Kirkcambeck. Children from other areas are always welcome if we have a vacant place in that year group.

Our school provides a happy secure learning environment where children experience success and develop a caring, responsible attitude to others.

We enjoy a beautiful rural aspect with a large school field and a good sized yard. Secure paved areas give the children an ideal space to ride bikes and learn about pedestrian safety.

Our newly installed amphitheatre is perfect for speaking and listening work. New adventure play apparatus will be installed shortly as part of our on-going plans to improve our use of the outdoor spaces.

We also have a greenhouse, a raised vegetable bed. Adjacent to the field is a wild area which is used as an outside classroom.

The infant classroom is a bright and cheery room.

The children have easy access to computers, role play area, a creative zone, a quiet work area, listening stations and the sheltered outdoor area.

The infant cloakroom and toilets are adjacent to the classroom itself.

The junior classroom is airy spacious teaching room and also has easy access to computers. Our computer to pupil ratio is 1 between 2.

There is an intergral library and all aspects of the curriculum are well resourced.

School hall is a huge asset not only for PE lessons on wet days, but for drama, music and PSHE lessons too.

Freshly prepared organic ´home cooked´ lunch is served in the hall every day.
